Go to the Wormbase reference page. Click on tools, more tools, Genetic Maps and enter your Chromosome number and map interval. Click on candidate genes displayed in your map interval and compare your phenotype to the one described for that gene. Next I would try a PubMed search from NCBI using the mutant name. Check out the oldest papers first for the more general description of your mutant and the latest papers for what currently known.
